Provides the right atmosphere
The first thing you should do is turn off your cell phone and all other digital things that could disturb and distract you. It is best to start your wellness evening, afternoon or whatever you would like to do right away. By developing a ritual, your body and mind will quickly learn when to switch off and relax. Play quiet music in the background. Make sure that the music is not too loud and that there is no singing in it, so that your mind does not wander. If you can, dim the lights or light candles for a special mood. If you like, you can use scented candles or incense. Once you feel comfortable, linger a bit and dive into relaxation.
Take a foot bath
Bathe your feet in lukewarm water with a little bath foam. You can either spend the time completely in silence and in your thoughts or you can read a book. Just as you like to relax. When your feet are softened a bit, you can start with the pedicure. Remove calluses, paint nails, if you like, maybe even a little massage? There are no limits to what you can do. Just don’t forget to put on some cream at the end, so that you can enjoy your beauty program in the long run. Of course, you can also make a small bath for your hands and then take care of your manicure.
Apply face masks
Whether you start with a peeling or just clean your face is up to you. Doing something good for your skin with a face mask is a good idea in any case. With a relaxed, well-circulated and elastic skin, you will automatically feel fresher.
Drink enough water
During all the nice treatments you treat yourself to, you must not forget to pamper your body from the inside as well. Make yourself a delicious infused water with cucumber or lemon, for example. Only when your body is well hydrated can your skin really glow and your brain work. So it’s worth drinking a lot not only for visual reasons, but also for performance reasons.
