This recipe is perfect for those who love burgers but don’t eat meat. This delicious burger with vegetables is not only healthy, but also very delicious.
Because of the ingredients of veggie burgers, you don’t have to worry about gaining weight because of this ‘fast food’. Another plus with this meal is that it can be prepared very quickly. With the following ingredients, these veggie burgers can be replicated easily and quickly.
Ingredients:
- 400 g canned chickpeas, washed and dried.
- 1 clove of garlic
- 1 large sweet potato, boiled
- 1 cup of frozen peas
- 1 cup frozen sweetcorn
- ¼ cup green onion, chopped
- ¼ cup cilantro, finely chopped
- ¼ cup parsley, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon curry powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon paprika powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
Preparation:
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Put all ingredients in a stand mixer and mix until everything is well combined. Use your hands to form equal sized patties. Place the patties on a baking tray (previously covered with baking paper) and place in the oven for about 40 minutes.
Fill the whole wheat bread with patties and garnish with fresh vegetables and a healthy sauce of your choice. And the delicious veggie burgers are ready.
