Fancy a high-energy start to the day? We have the perfect solution for you! It’s a smoothie that will give you enough energy, vitamins, proteins, healthy fats and minerals for the day. As the title suggests, the main ingredient of this energy booster is the Alga Spirulina. To prepare this smoothie you need a blender, as well as the following ingredients:
- 1 banana (if possible frozen)
- Berry fruits (raspberries, blackberries, strawberries or blueberries)
- 1 tablespoon of spirulina powder
- Chia seeds
- Water or almond milk
When all ingredients are ready, place them in a blender with a little water or almond milk and mix well. If it is too thick, you can add some water or milk. Empty into a glass and drink immediately or put in a water bottle and enjoy on the way to work or university.
